4.When You Wake Up Your Parents on A Lazy Weekend at 7AM

We're not going to lie; this is exactly us when we were young, lazily awakening parents at horrible hours in the morning (heck, the sun most likely wasn't even up), as if we were unintentionally making them suffer with sleep deprivation. Growing up, it's incredible how they didn't yell at us for not allowing them sleep in on the weekends. This image most certainly brings back that entire experience.
Only a parent (or in this instance, a dog owner) can truly appreciate the expression caught in this moment - a perfect mix of resignation, minor annoyance, and the kind of tired affection. The scenario gets even more funny when you consider that this large dog most likely does not just gently nudge their owner awake - no, they most certainly use a full arsenal of wake-up techniques, from heavy paw taps to full-body flopping onto the bed. That universal look says, "Yes, I love you more than sleep, but did it have to be THIS early?"
This dog's facial expression tells us he isn't really happy with things as they are. We picture that exactly the visage our parents produced. That "Why am I awake right now?" mixed with "I love you but please go back to sleep" statement speaks to animals as well. For someone who values their sleep but loves their family member—human or animal—this is the global language. Although the early morning wake-up call may not be appreciated, the pure love underlying it most surely is.
